This cancellation and refund policy (“Policy”) governs the cancellation of your membership of Shining Health card membership offered by Shining Health Paradise Pvt. Ltd, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 of India, having its corporate office at Jaipur Rajasthan (“SHP”) and of the membership card issued by SHP (“Shining Health Card”), as well as the refund of the fees paid by you towards purchase of such Preventive Healthcare Plan (“Membership Fees”).
In the event that you wish to cancel the Shining Health Card and your membership with SHP, you shall be required to intimate the same to BHC by calling BHC inbound or by sending an email to within 7 (Seven) days of receipt of the Health Card by you. You shall further be required to return the Shining Health Card and all documents and other items provided to you along with the Shining Health Card to its register office or in local city office However do note, this cancellation is permitted only within 7 (Seven) days of receipt of Shining Health Card by you and provided you have not used the Health Card even once during this 7 (Seven) days period with any of its affiliates to avail its benefits. Even a single use of Shining Health Card in any form to avail its benefits will make the cancellation request redundant.
On receipt of such intimation and the Shining Health Card’s Welcome Pack, Shining Health paradise shall verify the details of your membership and the request for cancellation placed by you. On SHP’s satisfaction that your request is in accordance with this agreement, SHP shall carry out the following (collectively, “Cancellation”):
Discontinue the Shining Health Card issued to you and your membership with SHP with immediate effect; and (ii) Issue a refund of the amount paid by you as Membership Fees. On Cancellation as aforesaid, SHP shall intimate you of the fact of such Cancellation and shall inform you of the method of refund of your Membership Fees. Such Cancellation shall be subject to the following terms: Cancellations shall be considered only if (i) a valid request is made in this regard within 7 (Seven) days of receipt of the Shining Health Card by you, and (ii) the entire shining Health Card’s Welcome Pack is returned to SHP within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the cancellation request as aforesaid. For calculation of the aforesaid periods, the records of dispatch, delivery and communications available with BHC shall be considered final.
Do note, shining Health Card purchased under any celebratory / festive offer, or any special / discounted offer of any kind whatsoever cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
No cancellation shall be carried out if you have in any way availed any of the benefits available under the Shining Health Card prior to confirmation of cancellation by SHP. In the event a request for cancellation is received by BHC after dispatch of the Shining Health Card’s Welcome Pack to you, SHP shall deduct entire amount of your membership fees and shall not be refund to you as or part of the cancellation.
You are understood to have read and agree to abide by this Agreement. All information in this communication is correct & updated and is subject to change at the discretion of SHP. This agreement shall form an integral part of the terms and conditions governing the use of the Shining Health Card available on www.24x7missionhealthsurefoundation.com.
The Terms & Conditions of the SHP’s Shining Health Card’s Card, the doctors empanelled with SHP & the offers made on the SHP’s BShining Health Card card may periodically change. We hence request you to check for these changes on the website or by calling us on our help line numbers on a regular basis.
An SHP Member is defined as an individual who has a valid and current SHP’s Shining Health Card Card issued by Shining Health paradise Pvt. Ltd Usage of the SHP’s shining Health Card Card by the card holder (SHP Member) implies that the card holder agrees to the following terms and conditions of service & other terms as incorporated herein and understands that these terms govern the use of SHP’s Shining Health Card. All SHP members are understood to have read (on their own behalf and on behalf of their dependents/family/other members) the following terms and conditions and agree to abide by these Terms of Use.
Shining Health paradise Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms at any time and all cardholders agree to be bound by such modifications and/ or updates. Members are entitled to receive certain free and subsidised services from Medical Professionals / Organisations / Institutions / Pathology Labs / Radiology Labs / Others, who have done so for the cause of promoting high quality & affordable healthcare in India (i.e. for societal cause & not for promoting their practice in any way).
In order to receive medical services at the subsidised fee, a member must present his / her membership card to the medical service provider / others before services are rendered & agree to the applicable fee accordingly. Members must pay the medical service provider directly at the time of Service unless otherwise agreed upon between medical service provider and the member. If a member wishes to confirm the current fee for a particular dental or medical service, he / she should first contact the helpdesk number of SHP for guidance.
MEMBERSHIP TERM: Once the initial “Membership Fee” and any enrollment, processing or other fee is paid and received, a member will be entitled to the subsidised medical services during the membership period as defined by the expiry date given on the face of the Shining Health Paradise Pvt. Ltd.’s Shining Health Card (from the date of activation) or as otherwise stated on the valid / active SHP’s Shining Health Card.
RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP: Members may be informed at least one month in advance before their membership card expiry date. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that SHP receives the payment for renewal of membership renewal at least two weeks prior to the membership card expiry. SHP is not responsible and assumes no liabilityfor any disruption of service in case the payment gets delayed or the payment cheques are dishonoured. In case of dishonoured cheques, a penalty will be charged. The membership card services will remain suspended till the realization of the payment.
RENEWAL CHARGES: The charges for renewal can be confirmed by calling the SHP helpdesk number a month in advance of the expiry date. Kindly note that any treatments being offered at subsidised rates will not be offered at these rates by the medical practitioner, as soon as the card validity has lapsed.
LOST CARD: In case of loss of membership card, a duplicate membership card may be issued at the nominal charges of Rs. 100 /- (plus the applicable taxes). The tenure of the membership will remain as specified in the initial membership card.
COMPLAINTS: Shining Health Card Package Members are advised to address their complaints, if any, to our representatives. They are there to help you out. However if you are not satisfied, you may write to us at our corporate office address or mail us or can contact our customer care centre.
The member’s rights or duties under this agreement may not be assigned or delegated without the prior express written consent of SHP. Member agrees that he / she will use his / her package or program membership only for his / her personal benefit or for the benefit of his / her family members/others who have individual SHP’s Shining Health Card Cards for themselves (in case of family or couple plan).
SHP’s Shining Health Card offered by shining Health paradise Pvt. Ltd. Pvt. Ltd is not health insurance policies. The membership card provides subsidised services through its empanelled doctors at certain healthcare centers. The membership card holder is obligated to pay for all healthcare services from those Medical / Dental service providers who have contracted with SHP’s Shining Health Card for providing services under the empanelment agreement. This T&C and the relationship between you and SHP will be governed by the laws as applicable in India. Any disputes will be handled in the competent courts of New Delhi, India.
IMPORTANT REFUND NOTE
In case no contact is established with the member(s) by SHP’s central retention team for membership cancellation request, the cancellation process will be put on hold till further contact can be established.
Cancellation/ refund will be processed only upon receipt / return of the purchased membership kit (unused) by SHP.
In case there are multiple ongoing dialogues between SHP and the member(s), there may be few instances wherein the time-frame committed for resolving a case may take longer than committed previously.
